Well, last night I went to see Brokeback Mountain.
Thanks to having a boss who loves to talk about movies he's seen and tell you everything about it down to certin gross details, I already knew a few things about the film. Luckily I got him to be quiet and not spoil too much.
The film itself was very beautiful and the gay cowboyness was rough at first, but then it got so sweet and that's what I've always loved when it comes to two men together. I like seeing them snuggled up together or just kissing. And even though there were issues between them, there was still some lovely moments. If you want my all out opinion though, the pass was very slow. That's not a fault to the film, they needed that. My problem is if there are moments were there's little dialogue or no action my mind starts to wonder and I get a little bored, but the movie still kept my interest through out, cause it was interesting to watch how these guys coped with their relationsip while trying to hide it from their wives.
The ending was sad, which I won't spoil, but even though I knew something about the ending it still shocked me and I'll admit I did cry. It's a really good film, but it's not one with a happy ending.
