Bath Christmas Market
So, this weekend's been kind of manic. We in England for some weird reason now do Black Friday...well, some stores do and I'm baffled as to why, but our store is one of those that had a sale on. Except ours is still on and is running until Weds. Luckily, we didn't get hit like some Supermarkets did with hoardes of people pushing and shoving each other out the way to buy cheap TV's. Should call it Black Eye Friday. Currys didn't get hit so bad. We were busy, don't get me wrong, but upstairs in the Kitchen Appliance section, it just felt like a busy Saturday. Obviously, our deals weren't all that great.
Anyway, I worked the whole busy weekend, but as a treat on Saturday evening I went down to Bath to meet up with my friends and checked out the Christmas Market. Sadly, I didn't get there until 7pm so I didn't get to spend much time looking around, however, every year we have a tradition where we go up to the top of Bath Abbey that overlooks the market. It's a beautiful sight and I look forwards to it every year.
I want to go back again before it closes. I never buy anything, but it's always nice to look around. I also want to get to the Bristol market at some point too. Maybe next week after I get paid.
