Work glorious work
Another day missed. I was at work from 9 until 5 and then I was at the cinema with Will watching Captain America again. I was happy to see it again and Will enjoyed it.
One thing I've noticed is I don't talk about work much. Well, mostly I don't really want to. They'd mostly be rants lately about how it feels like we have barely any staff and I feel I've been working on my own all work, which is partially true, I was the only person on my department all day yesterday. A colleague called in sick and they didn't get anyone to replace him so I was on my own. Turned out it wasn't very busy so it didn't really matter. Oddly enough it was actually a good day.
However, I do want to leave that job. I don't want to sell washing machines and other white goods forever and as much as I enjoy working with Will it has started to cause a few problems lately. Nothing major, but I have been taken my frustrations out on him, which he doesn't deserve.
I am having a look around for other jobs. I applied for a job behind the bar at Whetherspoons in Chippenham. I'm not sure if I'll enjoy working behind a bar more than selling white goods, but it's 30 hours a week contract, which is more than I have now. I may be working full time currently, but I don't have a full time contract so my hours can be cut just like that.
Oh well, grin and bare it for now.
