New Laptop.
As I mentioned last night I have a new laptop. So far I'm struggling to fall in love with it, but it's still very new and I have to get used to it.
It was a bit of an impulse buy even though I'd been thinking about getting one for a while. Usually I don't think about getting a new lappy until the old one has packed up, but I'm hoping to get back into playing PC games and my old laptop couldn't handle most games people were playing so I've upgraded and now I can.
Another thing that stopped me initially was because I couldn't afford a new one and I didn't see the point spending money I didn't have when my old computer still works. However, I'm paying this one off in instalments and because I work for PC World I got discount. Might as well use it while I'm there.
So, I've had some issues with it. I've never used Window's 8 before and I don't like the keyboard. I'm starting to get the hang of it, but it's further to one side than one my old one. I've had issues with the sound and the DVD player, but thanks to Will I think I've got it sorted. He very kindly set it up for me something which we charge for at work. It's good to know people.
So, yeah, that's what I've been doing today, playing around with my new toy. I'm sure I'm grow to love it, especially when I can start playing PC games with my friends again.
