Yeah, it's been a while since I made an update. It's not that I haven't been doing anything, it just doesn't seem to occur to me to update on things as much these days. Anyway, got a couple of things worth mentioning.
* I've been given a lot more hours at work lately, which is really good on the financial front, bad for free time. In fact I've been given so many hours I only get one day off this week. It's because someone's away and there's not enough staff upstairs, so I'm working every day more or less. I was asked first so it's not a surprise and as of next week I go back to having 2 days off, so it's okay. I'm just thinking of the money.
* I have a new boyfriend! Yeah, this is something I usually get cautious about admitting these days because of the bad luck I've had in the past, but I'm a little more confident this time seeing how we've been sort of dating for months now. We've only been 'official' for about a week now. His name is Will and we work together at Currys. After Michael last year I'm a little weary about getting into a relationship with someone at work, but I say what the hell, I really like him.
Early days, but I'm being cautiously optimistic.
* Any free time I have left in between spending time with Will and work has been spent working on my newspaper. I'm not as close to finishing it as I'd hoped, but I'm confident I'll have it completed by London Expo which is only a month away now. Yikes! Panic!
Things left to do:
* Finish off the design.
* Hear back from a friend who's been proofing reading my articles.
* Order some badges
* Print it out
* Buy a new case to carry it all in
* And buy/make anything I need for table presentation.
It's not a lot really, considering I'm half way through the design and ordering badges shouldn't take long. I just need to use my days off more productively, but lately I've been filling up my days off with social things. Same goes for my evenings. I need to have a day to really focus on the things I have left to do.
