Bath fun
So tired, but just got back from Bath. It's been quite adventurous.
Sel invited me to Bath Uni to watch a League of Legends tournament. I've never played the game and don't know much about it, but it was cool to watch. By the end of the tournament I think I got the hang of it. In all there was me, Sel, Moose, Luke, Kingsley and some other people I didn't know from Moose's uni. Sel's team won their first game, but lost the second. Still, they tried. We stuck around for the final which was won by the Bath home team and then went to get food...
...well that was the plan. As I was leaving the campus Sel rang and said her car's battery was dead. We were going to give it a jump start using my battary and jump leads Sel had, but none of us had done it before and despite Moose's willingness, Sel rang the RAC instead. We had to wait around so we tried get getting the car started by pushing it around the car park, which was slightly sloped, but that didn't work. We gave up and went to get food from a restaurant on campus. Typically, they arrived just as Sel was getting her food. The RAC man got her started and after finishing off her cold food we headed home.
Even driving home was eventful in a way. On the roundabout just outside of Bath there were policeman blocking the route I usually take so I had to take a divert...which I'm never taken before...which had barely any sign posts...in the dark. I headed in roughly the right direction and thankfully found a signpost directing me to Box.
So, it's been quite an adventure today. I may post photos tomorrow when and if I can be arsed.
