There's a conspiracy to phase out scotish accents on television and movies. I'm sure there is.
I've never heard Ewan McGregor use his in any movie I've seen him in (apart from one episode of ER)
Alan Cummings doesn't use his, at least in nothing I've seen.
And I didn't even know David Tennant was Scottish until I watched Doctor Who Confidential.
