Work stuff.

Work is slow. And it's about to be dead. By that I mean our department is not getting anymore orders this year. This means we're out of work til January, but next week we'll be helping out the other departments. I'll be moved to lead cutting whenever they need help, which is cool. I like it down there.

At the moment we're finishing off our current order, but doing it very slowly. So slowly in fact that no one cared that we spent a fair bit of time standing around talking. Well...I'm sure if the MD had been around he would have cared, but we didn't see him fortunately. Tomorrow is going to be worse, there's even less to do. But at least we finish at 1pm tomorrow.

I haven't heard anything back from Waterstones yet. It's been a while since I applied for a job, I'm not sure how much time I should give it before giving up hope.

To be honest, as much as I want this job, apart of me is kinda happy with the routine I have right now. I've managed to fit everything around my job so well and I hate to say it but I'm comfortable with it. However I can't fool myself. I don't want to risk falling into a rut.

Last night my mum asked when I was going to go back to uni and get my PGCE. To be honest, I have no idea. I haven't thought about it much and it occurs to me that I should look into it soon. I know I'm still getting my life together, but hopefully next year I'll be in a good position to start pursuing it for real. And until then I should do the research.

PS: I got a messege on Youtube from someone who liked my video where I show off my new boots and says he'd like to see more of me showing them off...yikes.
