The video that destroyed the world
Well, not quite, but it did do something to Ben's VCR.
We're not sure what happened, but Sel tried showing me two Starsky and Hutch videos she had on VHS. Ono snag; they're on american video, so we had to borrow our friends VCR. The beginning of the video had a kink in it and we couldn't fast forward past it
SOOOOO, genius that I am not I suggested we take the video apart and fast forward it that way. Now I am not a stranger to this, I used to do it all the time to my crappy VHS's years ago.
We managed to take it apart, but putting it back together again was not such a simple task. We fiddled, cogertated and bitched a little, but after a little "team work" we mamanged to put dear video together again.
Now you think everything would be all candy hearts and joy, but...no. We put the video in and we had gotten past the kink, but we couldn't SEE the videos. Hear them, yes, but not see.
At first we feared we had busted the video, but after checking another video we discovered we had in fact broken the VCR.
Not so good. We didn't get to see the videos and now we owe a friend a new VCR.
Aren't we the best people.
Anyone mind us borrowing your VCR.

Well I don't blame you.
But we have a plan. We'll buy him a new one and try again. Yes, this might be foolish and we might reck that new one, but we have a plan for that too..
