In other news, I'll probably be trying for a scholarship I found out about awhile ago. It's international students applying to prestigious american universities... a full ride, everything paid, if you manage to get in, meals and tuition included. I doubt I'm good enough to get in, but I can at least try. There's a whole crazy interview process, if you get past the main filter things... you have to have tea with the people who decide, and you have to show that you're intelligent and refined and poised enough to deserve the chance. I'm not sure I could pull that off, but that's putting the carriage in front of the horse, so to speak.
Dan Li, the girl I stayed with in China, might be coming to the wedding next summer, or at least coming to visit.
I found a shirt that I almost bought. It was hilarious... it said "Vous avez 30 secondes pour me seduire" which, for those non frenchies out there, says "you have 30 seconds to seduce me". By itself, it's not that original or funny... but the fact that it's in french makes me laugh.
I also may be coming down with a serious case of glitter lung.
