And now, a photo collage of the food i spent today preparing. It was so good. So good that it can't be fully expressed how good it was. Also, photos of food always look pretty gross (for examples, see gallery of regrettable food).
The first one on the left is Ijit Koussa, or Zuchhini Patties (Hahaha. Pattie Koussa. Get it?) It has eggs and spinach and a large helping of delicious.
Second is fortune cookies, with home made fortunes. Kath kinda ruined them... well, the first batch at least. She overcooked them, and they didn't fold so well... the fortunes kept falling out!
The roll type things are fatayar, spinach in some and lamb in the others. Basically just bread wrapped around it.
Worm Rice (or so we called it when we were little... that's noodles, for the record) with pine nuts
The lamb balls are called Kibbe
And then there's bean salad. Which I made, but didn't eat any, because it gives you crazy amounts of gas. Yup. Steer CLEAR of the bean salad, I always say. I should have put that on one of the fortunes.
...and then flank steak, to top it all off.
Yeah, so I'm really just posting this to gloat. Because I made all of this, guys! I'm so bloody domestic. ^_^
