A late but dutiful reply to Senator Ensign...

Jun 17, 2009 23:17

Dear Senator Ensign,

As you may recall in our previous conversation dated the twenty-first of January, in the year of our Lord Two-Thousand and Four, we heartily debated same-sex marriage rights of the day and confirmed your belief system of them only containing one woman and one man for each legal marriage.

However, I am slightly confused by your latest confessionary issued just yesterday: You have openly confessed to an extra-marital affair with another women.  Perhaps I am reading this incorrectly, but from our last conversation marriage was only defined between one man and one woman--yet someone how you have entwined two women instead.

Please let me know if this is simply a typo made by an egregious publisher to simply draw attention from your obvious dislike of same-sex marriage.  You may continue our conversation as we have left it back in 2004 at your earliest convenience.

Thank you again for your time in this matter.

Signed Cordially,

Someone who never voted for you and will never get the chance to vote for you again.
