So today a terrible tragedy happened... I needed to bomb my house due to a problem I've been having with fleas. This morning I set it all up tp do it's thing, then my friend Matt called me and asked me to help move soemthings into storage. also....treat your cats with advantage. in my experience it works a lot better than frontline. DO NOT by the crap that tries to be advantage like the HARTZ brand at wal-mart or at pet stores. i have seen lots of reactions to that crap and it doesn't work either.

one more thing.......buy advantage from your vet or if you don't have a vet....buy it from a vet. it is an over the counter product. do not buy it from pet smart or a petco place. i say this because the if you buy from there or these pet med express online and other online sources are sketchy. most of these are scam products.

what i mean by that is......bayer and merial - the companies that make advantage and frontline only sell their products to vets. so these pet stores that carry it have not bought their product directly from the manufactuer....so you aren't sure you are getting the right product or the right product that has been properly maintained to keep the active ingredients working to make the product work.

these online places and these pet stores will pay vets to order the products for them in order to carry it...in the cases of the online places.....they pay sketchy vets to order it in bulk for their online demands and then they don't store it properly....often times kept in unclimate controled spaces that will basically ruin the product....but by all appearances it looks ok.

so you only know you are getting the right product and that it has come directly from the manufacturer by getting it from your vet.

don't mean to sound like a conspiracy theorist.......

anyway.....from my personal experience....i have 3 cats and although they NEVER go outdoors, on the rare occassion that i find fleas.....i treat with advantage and it does the trick. frontline in my experience did not work, but i have friends that swear by it.

both products you apply every 30 days. in my case....i've only had to treat them 2 months in a row and that is it until i see fleas again.

but the environment treatment indoor AND outdoor (if they go outside) will help alot. the life cycle of a flea is a tricky one and i fucking HATE fleas.

good luck with the flea drama!

Thank you for the information... :) There are alot of products out there that don't get many results and that are very toxic.
