today was so weird
not weird in the negative connotation...i don't really know how to articulate it
dictionary.com says
"Weird refers to that which is suggestive of the fateful intervention of supernatural influences in human affairs: the weird adventures of a group lost in the jungle."
haha okay well i spent all night at the meditation house laughing, smoking hookah, + listening to records
my new friend jackie made me a really pretty necklace and a bunch of funfetti cupcakes and i almost started crying because it was just so nice of her and she did it because she actually cares about me even though i only talked her outside of my feminist theory class for the first time last friday. she is the most accepting, non-judgmental person i've ever met and yeah i sound like i should be on barney & friends right now but she really just makes me want to be a better person...a genuinely nicer person.
so yes, next year i'm really going to try to do more new things. wow that sounds vague but i mean i found someone whose letting me take their spot as a dj for our school's radio station, i want to take a yoga class, spend less time on the computer/watching tv, and more time actually relating to people.
does anyone want to meditate/do yoga with me on a regular basis this summer?
