(no subject)
T minus 25 minutes and counting til the cab comes to whisk me away to the airport.
Packing status: miraculously I only have one duffel bag and one carryon/purse. I crammed the last thing into the duffel bag, pulled the seams together so I could zip it easy, gave a big satisfied sigh and then I peer over my bag to see Moose staring up at me with those big black moosey eyes. So I took out the last few things and crammed Moose in, and gave an even bigger effort to shutting my bag. It now LOOKS as though I had to stuff 5 days worth of stuff into one bag. Eh... I'll be alright.
So now I'm off! Computer is shutting down. Ready to begin a great big list of "firsts":
cab ride
plane ride by myself
metro ride by myself
heck, visit to DC by myself
hotel by myself
and of course, my first time meeting Tilghman, Anthony, and Adam!
