Stuff and Junk and Junk and Stuff
Neglected are the neglectful...and I've been neglecting this journal once again. I guess mostly it's just because today is so similar to the day before. You get up, you go to work, you come home and piss around until it's time to go to sleep and then do it all again.
Some things have changed recently. My friend Alli from Peoria came down to intern for a month and half. She is staying on our couch in the living room. I've been seeing a new guy lately. He is a lot of fun. Most recently we've gone fishing and canoeing. Wow, that makes me sound like a girl who is all about nature. Don't get me wrong, I think the outdoors is pretty cool but it's not like that. I just like doing different things and getting outside. Especially since I'm stuck indoors all day everyday.
Anyway, so that's that. I went home for Memorial Day weekend and got to see my BFFs Terry, Scott, and Rory. I definitely still miss Illinois from time to time but more and more I feel like Tampa is finally becoming 'my home.' I still don't know exactly what is going to be happening with the label as far as the merchandising department staying here or not but I supposed we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Part of me would love to move and experience some place new, but the other part of me feels like I've 'been there, done that.' I guess only time will tell. Somehow the future still freaks me out.
This Saturday night, Alli was sitting outside and a kittie walked up to her. Now we have a new pet until we're able to find the owners. It's really cute and I may consider keeping it if we can't find who it belongs to, but at the same time, I'm not sure if I can afford a pet. Buying it food and paying vet bills plus the pet fee at the apartment complex...I would love to keep her if I can...
