Hey, brief update. I got a new laptop and I love it. It's a Toshiba Satellite and it's all mine! No more accidentally claiming Todd's laptop* and having him fuss at me. Once I determined that my laptop worked and everything seemed okay, I littered the front and inside with a variety of stickers. I heart stickers.
About a month ago, I had a cyst removed from my left elbow. I had been growing it since I was probably eleven or twelve years old! It had gotten big and was changing shape, so I had a plastic surgeon carve it out. It was benign, so no elbow cancer for me! Speaking of surgery, I'm scheduled to have Lasik done in April. I've wanted to have my eyeballs zapped since I learned it was possible, so probably twelve years or so, when I met a Lasik patient. I'm nervous but excited about that. Speaking of change, I'm supposed to get a microdermal madison piercing sometime soon, but I'm waiting for my piercer to get the jewelery in. That should be within the next week or two. Thinking about that piercing scares the crap out of me, but I've wanted it for a really long time! I think it'll look really good. The jewel will be a white opal. Very low-profile. Finally, I hope to get my right foot tattooed in April. I'm getting a memorial tattoo for my paternal grandparents.
Speaking of paternal people, my paternal grandmother died at Thanksgiving. That sucked.
Finally, school is going well. I might not be able to maintain my 4.0 GPA this semester though, as my computer class is proving to be trickier than I previously thought. Also, I suspect that my most recent Spanish exam did not yield an 'A', as they normally do. Maybe it did...but I'm not confident.
Okay, I hope everyone is having a good week! Hopefully I'll update again soon!
Footnote: apparently, this is a thing that I do. When we were kids, I would often say "my parents", "my mom", "my dad", etc. right in front of my sister, which would upset her. In front of Todd, I have said "my house"and "my laptop", which upsets him.
