The end of Supe as we know it

So, there were a lot of aspects about having Supe that I didn't discuss here. Todd and I learned the hard way that we are not patient people. Supe had grown more and more stubborn recently and the classes weren't helping much. She was acting like a fifteen-year old person, full of attitude and obstinacy.

Today at the eye doctor, in passing, I asked the nurse if she wanted a puppy. She was all about it. So, tonight I met with her and her family of four kids and a husband and Supe loved them and they loved her. I was super impressed with how good she was with the kids!

The husband has had dogs his whole life and he is a stay-at-home dad, so he'll be with Supe all the time and he'll know what he's doing.

I think a fresh start is the best thing for her. I think it was best to do this now rather than wait until she was years old and less adaptable (and adoptable).

Maybe one day when the cats are gone and I'm working less we can try again. For now, I feel like we've learned our lesson and we need to practice patience before involving any more pets!
