Current events
We had to get Supe a bark collar. I'm sure there are naysayers who think we could have done something else, but we tried a radio, a calming diffuser (still plugged in, too) and simply ignoring her. Every time she would see Todd, she would bark for 30 to 60 minutes after and that is not cool at 5 and 6am. At least I'm finally sleeping between her every-three hour bathroom visits.
My sister came by tonight and took Todd's grandmother's old dinette set. It was a medium brown Hitchcock table with four chairs. Very nice but not our style. My sister fell in love with it. We'll be replacing it with a full dining room set on Saturday.
OMG, this weekend will be torturous. Saturday, Todd, Supe and I will drive 2.5 hours to Edenton, NC and pick up a U-Haul truck. Then we'll load it with lots of furniture, including a piano and drive it back to Richmond. We have three stops in Richmond, unloading bits here and there. Then we sleep.
Sunday morning, my mom and I will drive the U-Haul 2.5 hours to Raleigh to unload the rest of the furniture and the piano. Long weekend. Ten hours of driving, total.

In other news, Clipper has voluntarily climbed into my lap despite Supe also being there. I'm quite warm now...
