More Photography

I settled on Photomatix software for my HDR, as other software reduced the resolution and fine details of my pictures (what's the point of HDR if you fuzz out the details in the processing??). Went out to take a few pictures at the Guild, and loved the results! Seems I had reached a hardware limit before with the old G2, but now.... Well, look ( Read more... )

That is such beautiful light, and really rich colour. Not to mention the depth of field. So pretty!

Any word on that competition? :D

Thank you! I'm really happy with how it came out too :)

There were issues with ballot stuffing at the competition, people were seen filling in multiple ballots. The things people will do to win something...

This is beautiful, and much more successful than the two previous photographs you posted. I am sorry we were unable to come into the city for the Gladstone thing last weekend. I hope it went very well and that you amde lots of connections! XOXO

Thank you! I had a very good day at the Guild that day! You should click though the image to my Flickr account, and look at the rest of them. The weather was a little threatening, so there was no one in the gardens, making it perfect for photography!

The photomarathon event was a bit of a washout, as noted above. However, I did have some good luck before. When I was taking the Exhibition Place photos, I ended up stopping and chatting with Clay Davidson, which more than made up for how the event went. Joined up with Visual Arts Ontario last week, so looking to soon start submitting to galleries, etc.
