My mom came down to visit me yesterday. She expressed concern that I hadn't found a job yet. And honestly, I hadn't been trying very hard. I never heard back from the library job I applied for, and I just threw myself into other pursuits like cleaning my apartment and feeling sorry for myself. But today I checked and there are three more library jobs that I can apply for! Which I just did. Although I am not overly certain they will contact me this time, but I can hope and I can try. I also saw a few other jobs around that I could try for.
We had a great day otherwise... we had lunch with my aunt, and Mom took me shopping and bought me clothes. I felt so guilty about her spending stuff on me. But I did need new summer clothes and I couldn't afford them on my own. They're all very practical.
Oh yeah, and the washing machine in my building is broken. Guess I'm not doing that today!
