Sunrise

It was a beautiful sunrise this morning. Not that I got to see the actual sun peering over the horizon. But the light bathing Memorial Park, and the gentle mist made everything look so fresh.

Of course, mist means humidity. When I stepped outside at 5:30 this morning, to knock to dirt off my shoes, I broke into a sweat after 3 seconds. My glasses remained fogged for almost the entire workout.

We did 8x800m with a 90 second rest. I missed the time trial last week (for undisclosed reasons), so I wasn't given a pace target. But Hoang was on the list, and I figured he'd be about the same as me. We were supposed to run each leg in about 2 mins. Here are my times, these are even less interesting than mile splits.

In this instance, faster is not better. Sean gives us a target, and that's what we want to hit. Still, we were close.

Last night after helping out with hills, I decided to show off during the core workout. I didn't take a break in between each plank. I must have been holding it for almost 2 minutes. I can feel it today.

Actually, my core is getting really solid. I may challenge people to punch me at Carol's party on Saturday. (Not really)
