Heights Fun Run 5k

I ran the Houston Heights Fun Run today and PRed! My splits were 9:24, 8:41, 8:40 and 0:46, finishing in 27:32. That's almost a full minute faster than last weekend's 5k, so I was wondering if the course was short or something. A minute is a long time in a 5k.

But I looked it up, and sure enough, it's a certified course. So, I'm taking the result ( Read more... )

A USATF-certified course is a road race course whose distance has been certified for accuracy.

Congrats, Bob! And no, the course wasn't short--I was 40 seconds faster yesterday than last weekend. Enjoy the PR!
