Happy.....Spring???
Are we sure it is spring?? Yeah, 3-5 inches of snow on the first full day of spring 2006. Well it has been a while since I have updated this due to my busy schedule....or well laziness too. So, this could be a kind of long entry.....so here we go.
March 8--The A-10 tournament began....and ended for UD. It was held at US Bank Arena in Cinci. We left around 11:00am and went to the Red's Stadium for our alumni pep rally thing. They fed us a decent lunch, NOT HOT DOGS (unless of course you wanted them)! Then we went to the game. It was fun even though we lost.
After it we came home, I showered and Alex and I went to dinner at Panera and then I went to support our MITs during their test. They are all so cute! I love them, especially my little! After the girls were finished I came back home and played Mario Party with Kymmie because she had been asking me to. Then it was off to bed for this sleepy girl.
March 9--Classes.....that is about all there is to say....
March 10--Last day of classes before break. After classes I began packing for Florida. Then around 7:30 or so Alex came and picked me up and we went out to dinner at Applebees. That was fun. Then we came back and watched "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". Funny movie, if you haven't seen it, I recommend it!
March 11--3:30 am is REALLY early! Haha! Had to meet in front of the RecPlex at 4 so we could leave by 4:30 for Florida. Well I slept a lot of the way down so that was good. We got to Williston around 7pm. After getting there Alex and I walked to "the" Winn Dixie and then to McDonald's for dinner. Had a meeting at 9:30pm. Was sound asleep by 11pm! It was great!
March 12--Left the motel at 8:00am for the beginning of my scuba diving ceritfication dives. We dove at "Devil's Den". It was really pretty....and 85*F weather, yeah amazing! After our first dive our group went into Williston for lunch at "the" Subway. Then went back to do o ur second dive of the day. After it we headed back to the motel. Then a group of us (me, my roommates, Alex, and another couple) decided to go find someplace for dinner. After driving around for 30 minutes or so we came across "the" Driftwood Cafe. It was this homestyle place that was AMAZING! After dinner we went back for our meeting then just went back and chilled in our room....in bed asleep by 10:30pm!
March 13--Diving, day #2. Went to Ginnie Springs and completed our certification dives! Yay! After we got back to the motel the same group we went to dinner with the previous night went out again. This time we ate at "the" Bronx Pizza. Then back to the motel to lay around and watch tv some. Once again, in bed asleep by 10:30pm!
March 14--HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!!! Went to Homossassa Spring Wildlife Park in the Morning and the beach in the afternoon. Very nice relaxing day. After coming back to the motel we got ready for dinner at "the" Outback. Went to dinner, came back, watched a little tv. Sound asleep by 10:30pm again!
March 15--Last day of diving....First day of diving as a certified diver! This time we dove at "Blue Grotto". There were some aspects of this place that made it the best, but I did like the features of some of the other places we dove. Here we dove a record 95 feet. It was cool. We did two dives that night then went to the motel. Had a group meeting and completed our DiveLogs. We went to dinner together as a group at a places called "A & A Bar-b-Que" it was another homestyle place that was really good. Came back, packed up, and went to bed for the early wake up time of 2:30am!
March 16--Long drive home. Although leaving Florida at 3:00am helped the cause. We were home by 5pm. Yeah....we drove a little fast the first half of the day...But after we got back Alex and I went to dinner at Max and Erma's with Jackie. That was fun, I missed her (As well as my other housemates!) a lot! We came back and chilled out here. Because his dorm wasn't open he stayed here for the night since he was going to the NCAA tournament the next day with his parents.
March 17--HAPPY ST.PATRICKS DAY! Got up, Lorna and Doug came to get Alex. I finished packing. I headed home. That night I just chilled out at home with my family and worked on homework.
March 18--Went shopping at River Valley Mall with mom and Tyler. Actually this was hilarious since I totally saw Steve O there! (FPB know who I mean!) I got some jewelery from Claires (gotta love 10 for $5 deal), a pair of capri sweat pants and 3 bras from TJ Maxx, and a skirt, t-shirt, and headband from Value City. After I got home I went to town and got my underwater pictures developed from the trip. After that I went to Alex's and we ended up going to Steak and Shake and meeting up with Derek. The three of us then went to Derek's house and watched "In Her Shoes", another very good movie! Then I headed home.
March 19--Woke up to a phone call at 10:30am from Alex saying his roommate backed out of going to the 2nd round NCAA games at the arena and wanted to know if I wanted to go. Well, after much debate I decided to go. So, after eating lunch with the family I took off back to Dayton. I went to both of the games with him and his parents and then out to dinner with them. It was really good. I had a lot of fun.
March 20--Back to classes........yay....riiiight. Well nothing too exciting. After dinner went to Coldstone for ice cream. It was really good. Then I had a service committee meeting. That lasted for an hour, then I came home and relaxed some.
March 21--First full day of Spring........3-5 inches of snow...yeah sounds about right! haha! Dad came to Dayton today so I got lunch with him and he looked at our washer. I guess we need a new ringer, whatever that is. But yeah. He also went to WalMart for me! I was happy! At pep band we had drum major auditions for POD. I was a little upset, and still am, that I couldn't try out but unfortunately I have a class conflict and have to miss a day of POD. So, I am not going to do that to me, or the band, it is unfair to them. But Adam and Emily got drum major so that is exciting! I am happy for both of them.
March 22--Classes.....yeah that is about all today.......
So there have been a couple things that have upset me lately..I won't say who, but those who it refers to don't have my journal anyway....but I am frustrated about oh three things that have happened lately that I had no idea were going on, and I am a little bit offended about, but oh well....such is life, and life goes on.
