Home is great!!

Wow! I'm so glad to be home. I wasn't sure I'd say that, but so far, it's been wonderful.

I got home Monday at 7:30-7:35...made good time :) Went directly to rehearsal to work on my sight reading a little bit. Afterwards, I was talking to Larry, and he said, "Come on, you're going to the back. I'm buying you a drink. And you can't say no." So we went to the bar at the VFW, and I enjoyed chatting with some of the people in the group.

Tuesday I worked all day. I was a little nervous about being rusty, but I balanced, and I didn't mess up anything! I had lunch with KJ...always a wonderful time! It was a great warm up for Wednesday!! A regular came in, asked what I had been up to, etc etc. Came right out and asked if I was dating anyone or if I was single. I considered lying (it saves a lot of hassle) but I told him the truth. He has a son...yadda yadda, you know where this is leading. I didn't think much of it. Came home, did some homework and laundry. I went to Laura and Brad's to watch smut, aka Sex and the City. Came home, went to bed.

Went in to work early Wednesday, because Linny (Linda) was sick. Boo to not getting to work with her, but yay for an extra 2 1/2 hours. Customer from Tuesday came in (I said he was a regular). Well, I had gone downstairs to use the restroom and I was on my way back to my window when Customer stops me. He says he was very serious about what he said yesterday, that he's thought of it several times before. Customer gives me his business card and says his son's cell number is on the back, that I should call him if I want. Customer said he didn't give son my number, he wouldn't do that, blah blah. Customer leaves. Later that day, Customer 2 comes through drive-thru. C2 has tried for over a year now to set me up with her grandson. "Casually" mentions that Grandson is in town, etc etc. C2 isn't really the issue though. But what to do about C1 and his son? Do I call? Do I not call? I don't know how to do this! What do I say? Hmm, being the guy is hard! Any thoughts?

Continuing the great day...Went to Aschemeier's. Joe helped me figure out the math test I bombed and can retake after break. Then Erin, her boy Zach and I hung out. Played Nintendo. Yes, Nintendo...old school rocks :) Then we played Monopoly. Zach refused to make deals, but I had all but 2 of the $500 bills. We called the game, because the bank did not have enough money. I passed go and the bank did not have the funds to give me my $200.

That's been my great break so far. It should only get better and better!

More later, I'm sure. Any insight about Customer's suggestion would be great. I'm not sure where to go right now.
