we don't need to, we don't want to understand
Two exams down, one more to go. My last exam should be pretty damn easy too. It's an open book/open note math exam. Plus, I could pretty much fail this exam and still get an A in the class.
I'm kind of sad to be letting go of this semester. It's really been fun. I had some slack classes this semester that meshed well with my difficult classes. Next semester its pretty much all difficult classes:
ENG 381 Children's Literature
MTH 152 Mathematics for Elementary Teachers
MUS 110 Music in Society
HST 516 Modern America 1877-1920
MUS 333 Music Education for Elementary Grades
Most of them won't be too difficult, but will be a lot of work. I have to get around 12 books for my Children's Literature class. Not looking forward to that (especially since I have a heavy heavy fee on my KDL library card and it's hard to find the books I need here). I'm looking forward to having another history class. I've missed it. My music classes shouldn't be too bad either.
I'm semi looking forward to Christmas break. I don't really have a job yet. I called Karin at camp to see if she would need help for winter camp. I guess she's waiting to see what enrollment looks like. I'm crossing my fingers. I think it'll be a lot of fun to play in the snow with kids, not to mention sledding and snowshoeing. I don't want to sit around at home though with nothing to do. My dad really got on my case last time about not having a job. But, at least my paycheck from the Snack Attack over break will be pretty good. I worked Monday night and I'm working tonight. Then we have cleaning tomorrow and Friday which will take a couple of hours. I get paid tomorrow, which is a bonus, and then I'll get paid after Christmas.
I am however very much looking forward to seeing my friends again. It seems like every time I leave Grand Rapids I miss them more and more. I'm going to have to go to Denny's with Kelly several times. As well as hang out around the Allen house. Since I don't really have a job yet those are good things to look forward to. Hopefully there will be lots of chillin' out maxin' and relaxin' with my friends.
