Getting Away From Work

After leaving the firm a little early (not that anyone really noticed, in all the commotion), Lindsey drove both himself and Lilah to an Italian restaurant. Sure, it was a little early for dinner, well, early for them, but Lindsey's work had mostly been finished for the day anyway, so it wasn't like he was really loosing too much on leaving early.
After the waiter sat the two of them down at a table, he took their drink orders and said that he would be back in a minute for their food orders. Lindsey looked over the menu for a moment. "Ever been here before? I don't know what's good, myself."
The waiter came back after a minute or two with their drinks. Lindsey himself had ordered a glass of wine, since he was now off the clock as far as work went. He didn't have to worry about that now, unlike when he went out for lunch on occasion.
