(no subject)
Today was good for a few reasons. They involve . . .
a) being asked by the supersweet/genius postdoc to join the uber-awesome, kinda-top-secret project in the lab. Cancer stem cells! Yeeeeah.
b) dinner + cider = yay.
c) The Elliott Smith album came in the mail today. Lost songs are most fabulous.
d) we adopted a 6 week old kitten. He's grey and weighs about a pound and a half, and he really likes to snuggle and romp. He has to go back to the vet on Thursday for his shots, so he will be taken home to casa steph on Thursday night. He hasn't been officially named - we're trying to figure out whether he looks like a Sam, Ralph, or Oscar.
