It's finally 10th week. Thank god. This quarter has been hell, although somehow through it all I found my little piece of heaven =). I am really looking forward to 11am classes, no work on the weekends or at least a free day during the week if I work weekends, and taking only 3 classes next quarter. I need a break after this quarter's busyness.

I heard from Mom about you and Emily. That's some really great news. I just thought I'd say a few things, most of which you probably already knew. Well anyways. One of the most rewarding things that I've found in my relationship with Jessica is the strength and effort we both have to put in to our relationship. It's that knowing that the other person is working just as hard as you are to make it work, you know? I'm sure you and Emily both know this, but for us, we had to keep our spark alive from July to December in different places -- she was in Oregon and San Jose, I was San Diego and Sonoma. We've kept it alive and running, and it is such a rewarding feeling especially now that we're both at Sonoma. I guess what I'm trying to say is that there will be ups and downs, but in the end, the love never changes. It's still special, fresh, and wonderful. It's scary at first, but sharing everything just makes it all better.
I'm sure you know all of that from your past with Emily, but I finally found it out myself this past year. You and Emily were always a relationship I looked up to, and I'm glad to see you both completely happy again. Don't be afraid of the world -- the world doesn't know anything. At least, that's what Jess and I have found.
Well anyways, hope the college life is treating you well (I'm sure it is).
Talk to you later,
Brian
