A cynic laugh disguises behind muted eyes
Conscious deception inherent in true sophomoric fashion.
Alive perhaps in waiting, at once revealed and,
Shadowed under a dogged pursuit of "education",
The snake writhes again, twisting head and forked tongue
Cut callously through a fleeting moment of sympathy.
This is a manifestation of the priveleged.
This is a companion to the inner light.
Night vision becomes ever more neccessary
while from the dark He assumes his rightful place on the mountain.
This close to god, a Man can only cynically laugh,
Disguise behind muted eyes consciousness inherent in His nature.
Then is it truly a sophomoric tune to which the snake dances
Or a true light brighter than He?
