Half a Year...
I haven't updated my livejournal in nearly half a year. Things have been busy. I've been using my Droid and facebook more and I haven't really had time to really voice my thoughts. Work of course has been really busy. I find myself working more every year. I wonder if that's how my 30s and 40s will pass by; working, sleeping, enjoying the weekends. Everyone needs goals and now that I'm working full time, my focus has really shifted to saving money, finances and preparing for retirement. There's still a lot of things that I want to do, things that I don't have time to do while working.
The latter half of the year will mainly consist of working, getting used to my panel, trying to be a little bit more active. I'm going to max out my 401k, try and hang out with my friends more and stay organized like I already am.
Lately, I've been listening to Regina Spektor and Marina and the Diamonds. I like both of them a lot. They're very different from a lot of previously produced music. It's interesting stuff. You never know where the melodies are going....
I've also has some right sided tinnitus lately. I'm not quite sure where it's coming from. I might be psyching myself out, but I think it might come from taking accutane. I'm a little worried, but at the same time, I don't really have time to get a hearing test. My hearing seems a little muffled on the right too. It's probably nothing.... but being a physician and knowing that there are things like Meniere's disease and Otosclerosis don't exactly help. (I'm not going to even mention acoustic neuroma). I'm probably fine, but over thinking things.
This weekend, Ritchie and I may go to watch Prince of Persia. He's working in lab, trying to get some things done. I had Udon for lunch. you can never get enough noodles, especially of the Japanese variety.
