I know I've said this before, but morning workouts are so much different from evening workouts. For one, I have more energy on evening workouts. For another, I don't have to worry about making so much noise jumping around with the evening workouts. With plans of having to do stuff like cleaning my apartment in time for Nicole's visit and going to my godson's birthday dinner later this week, I dragged myself out of bed early to get back to working out in the morning.
Like I mentioned in my
day 30 post, I don't like the "Shoulder Burn with Plie" exercise. Well, by not liking it, I mean those are the toughest workouts for Core Cardio and Recovery. You really feel a deep muscle burn in your thighs and your shoulders, which I guess is the whole point of the exercise. This is the one workout that I couldn't finish this morning. I'm not counting some of the one legged balance exercise, cause that's more like not being able to do it due to not being very balanced yet. With the "Shoulder Burn with Plie" I couldn't finish it. It was just an utter fail. I had to stand up a few times to relieve the thigh burn. I need to get mentally tougher to push through that, like I've tried with the squat and lunge holds.
I was surprised that I was able to get through most of the workouts this morning considering that I did this same workout last night. I was worried that I didn't have enough of a recovery time. I figured that Recovery Week was one of the few times that I can do a morning workout after an evening workout. The lower intensity allows for a shorter recovery period.
31 days down.
