A neuron is spherical with diameter of 20microns. What is its predicted capacitance. Assume that specific membrane capacitance is 1microFarad/cm^2
So, surface area of the cell ends up being 1.2566*10^-13cm^2
I used the conversion 1*10^-6/cm^2 = C/1.2566*10^-13cm^2
and got a C of 1.257*10^-19F....
is that right? I know it's simple, but the conversion is really screwing me up.
