Peking University Main Campus and International Jazz Festival

I have learned so much about the Chinese culture, and we have only been here for 2 weeks now. One thing that we did was we went to the Peking University Main Campus. There was a large lake that we walked around and a huge temple. Walking around in a way helped me relax by being more of a meditation and soothing process to keep my Qi and blood fluid going, which is the vital part of life and an important part of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Later on in the night, we went to an International Jazz Festival on the main campus where we saw two bands from Austria and Switzerland. Even though you would think this has nothing to do with Traditional Chinese Medicine, it actually does. One of the first things we were taught was that the Chinese believe traditional education includes Law, Music, Archery, Drive, Literature, and Mathematics. By experiencing this Jazz Festival and embracing the music, we in turn are learning how to produce harmony within our body. As I continue my journey on this trip, personal or otherwise, I know I will have a new outlook on life.
