For the women: Project Luna
Hey there, UCI. I'm a grad student here, seeking participants for my master's thesis project.
Project Luna is a site dedicated to supporting the creative explorations and practices of young women in high school, college, and beyond. This is a place for women to talk about what they do, why they do it, how they do it…and what the consequences of doing it have been for them. It's a place to contribute to a community of knowledge and practice, build confidence in one’s own skills, and develop a rapport with other like-minded creators.
The portion of the site for which I'm currently seeking contributions is the Wiki archive. If you are a (female) creator of some kind, I invite you to contribute your techniques and stories of creative process to the archive. Anything goes, from the basics of melting wax to full-scale film production.
Also, if you know of any similar or related places on the web or on campus where people might be interested in this project, please let me know! Thanks.
