A Request
So I am doing a fairly sizable research project for my undergrad sociology honors thesis on the social construction of self on the internet. In laymans terms, it is about how we present ourselves online, the specific mechanisms we use, why we do it in the way we do, whether people are more truthfull or less truthful online, and etc. What I need is around 10 volunteers who use the internet for communication and who go to UCI (everyone here hopefully) to interview. While there is no compensation, people have found talking about this kind of thing fairly entertaining in the past, and it will take less than an hour of your time.
