Itachi's Madness / post-402 Recs? / Fleetwood Mac's Peacekeeper
Hello, anyone got any good Itachi fic recs? Fics written of his character in light of chapter 402? Especially if it's KisaIta. I also love reading about Itachi and Sasuke as brothers (as in, platonic only please).
Now, onto Itachi's madness, just because it turns out that he didn't kill the Uchiha clan out of "even the kittens want to kill me" crazy, doesn't mean that he wasn't already cracked enough to follow those orders, which would only unhinge him even more. Heck, he might go crazy wondering how much crazy/evil he really is versus Just Acting (see Hamlet).
...and that is why alas, Itachi the genius's plans for Konoha and Sasuke failed. V from V for Vendetta tortured Evey to force her resilience, but he had introduced her to reasons to live. Itachi left Sasuke nothing. Itachi had also, where Sasuke is involved, committed senseless cruelty, that is illogical when considering what he wishes to archive, but logical in-story in that it fits his state of mind.
Itachi loves his little brother, he can't keep calm and rational in the face of any necessary harm towards Sasuke, so he goes overboard, towards everyone, his cruelty in those situation is him, snapping and acting out.
