So, we got to the acadamy early, but we got to the testing room a little to close to the time limit ending, but what the hell.
First, some assholes at the door were trying to block our entry, using some lame genjutsu to make everyone think we were on the third floor. Nice try guys, but very lame. I'm pretty sure Sakura saw through it, as well. I'm a bit disappointed with the other Konoha individuals- HELLO! All of us spent a good portion of our lives in the acadamy building. We should know it like the back of our hands, and now you can't even keep track of what floor you people are on?!
Sometimes I wonder about the sort of ninjas our village is producing these days. Take, for instance, a certian individual on my team, although my expectations of him are changing.
After straightening a few things out, and a rather flashy display by this kid with a bowl haircut, we got to go upstairs. I got stopped by one of the Hyuuga kids and he asked my name. Seriously, I don't hand out my name unless people give theirs first. It's rather rude to ask people their name without introducing yourself. I have other reasons for this doing this as well, but I think I'll save that for another day...
Whoever it was, nothing personal. It's just something I don't do. Next time give me your name and I'll give you mine.
That's one reason we almost didn't make it. The other reason is Rock Lee. I believe he's on the same team as that Hyuuga kid and the kid with the black buns in their hair, but he took my hint about giving a name first. Anyways, he wanted a fight and I was happy to oblige. Personally, I don't care if he wants to date Sakura or not, either way is fine with me, but I can't step away from a challenge. Especially after that stunt he pulled downstairs. He was an interesting guy to say the least. It seems all sorts of strange people are showing up for the exam. I didn't expect much from him, but he seems to have very advanced Taijutsu for someone our age. Very interesting.
I believe the moves I watched will come handy in the future.
I'm quite miffed that our fight was interupted by Gai-sensei. We finally met him in person.
The only words I can use to describe Gai-sensei are two words- "ABSOLUTE FREAK". Is this guy really considered Kakashi-sensei's rival? Well, I suppose I can believe it. He has some amazing speed. But...I really don't know what else to say about him.
Rock Lee and Gai definately take teacher-student relationship to the next level.
This entry seems a bit rushed, but the exam is due to start any moment now. Naruto is gabbering with some gray haired punk with glasses about cards. I wish he would shut up.
I suppose the cards are a bit interesting. Maybe I should ask to see a couple of them about some interesting individuals.
I'm oddly excited about everything. I wonder where that Sand guy went to.
