i jerked awake, and all the sweet numbness that filled my dreams left me and the bitter pain flared inside me.
i woke up and the figure was in front of me, shadowed and blurred. i tried to focuse my eyes as i inched away. it looked like orochimaru.. but.....
my eyes came into focus. it was only sasuke.
a little bit of explaining and an embrace later, the news came to my ears.
gaara.. the possibility of him being dead.
the words came to my ears and i denied what might be true. i lost a hell of a lot of chakra, but my feet pulled me toward sunagakure faster than i've ever run.
all the pain i felt left except one place. i felt my heart beat quick and with each heartbeat it killed me further. i felt the pendant around my neck and my feet sped up.
gaara....
