why do all the crazies want to buy children's books?

yesterday i helped out:
-a dude who smelled like dog pee
-a burned out jazz dude
-a lady who thinks one year olds can read
-the LOUDEST mother of a sulky teenage daughter ever
-and at least 3 people on the phone who were angry at our computers.
