I remember a while back when
sternel lamented the lack of unbiased news sources. I too, have lamented the lack of news reports without an obvious left or right slant. Then, this morning, I realized such a source was right under my nose. NPR! (if you're truly electronic-aged, that's National Public Radio. I was listening to their Morning Edition show (i think that's what it's called... and they started a story on the political background of John Roberts, the nominee for Supreme Court. And did you know what they read? actual LONG EXCERPTS from his arguments in front of the court as a private attorney. I was very surprised, as every media source is concentrating on a case he had where he apparently opposed Roe v. Wade, but the case was actually concerning the issue of free speech for protesters in front of abortion clinics, and whether the women's right to an abortion was greater than their freedom of speech. He argued the obvious case that the first amendment supersedes the Roe v. Wade decision, and damnit, I agree!
Liberal media, you have failed me! Damn you far left... damn you....
In other news, I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. it was delicious.
