Contest!!!
Hello, uchi_daily members!
As hinted in the 800 member’s announcement post, we prepared a special surprise to you all.
But first, let me tell you that me and ichigo_246 are really proud for this 800 members achievement.
When we decided to revamp this comm, back in late January, uchi_daily had between 500-600 members, if memory doesn’t fail me. From those we deleted a really good amount of dead journals so, to reach 800 members it’s really a nice feeling that we think it’s worth to celebrate. Not only because of the community itself, but because this means that Uchi is really doing well on his own and keeps gaining new fans, besides the ones who remained from Kanjani8 and NEWS fandoms.
Because uchi_daily is made and kept alive thanks to its members, we think this will be a great opportunity to bring more people into participating. We’re really grateful to those members who usually share all the Uchi related goods, files and news, but we would also like to see more people commenting active and making this community even more alive!
We’d love more people to participate not only in this specific event, but in the future as well! We know you’re out there, guys! Show yourselves! :D Post! Even if it’s just a pic you found cute for some reason and want to comment about it with other fans. Even if it’s a macro you made, a clip from youtube! Anything Uchi related. Crack posts are welcome as well! ;D

Rules/How to apply:
Everyone can participate, as long as it’s a member of uchi_daily (and Uchi’s fan!)
In order to be accepted as a contestant - therefore: a potential winner - members must submit to the contest master post (to be posted soon) any kind of fanwork they feel like: icons, wallpapers, banners, gifs, fanvids, fanfics… whatever suits you better.
The members will post their works in their journals and will reply to the master post at uchi_daily with a link to the said post. ( Feel free to pimp your post elsewhere you like, but in this case be sure to mention that you made it for uchi_daily ’s contest.)
In alternative, if you’re not comfortable/expert/fond with making any of those mentioned above, you can apply by making an Uchi pimp-post or a picspam in your own journal.
In both cases, the posts need to remain public since the submission date until the results from the contest are out.
All the works submitted, being those artwork, pimp posts or the picspams, must be original. This means you can’t use previously posted works/entries.
Please be reasonable regarding the works you submit: we’re not demanding for extra-huge picspams or mega-detailed pimp posts, not even for post with 32658 icons or banners, just to give some examples. This is not a competition between the different works posted. The fanwork you’ll submit it’s only a way to qualify you to the contest. That’s why we offered the chance of applying with pimp posts/picspams: to allow EVERYONE the same chance to win, even if you’re not a fic writer or a gifted icon maker, etc.
EVEN SO, please try to show some care and love in the works you’ll post. Again… be reasonable about this. For example, 1 icon will surely not be enough to qualify you for the contest… you’ll need to post a set, even if it’s small.
No need to say all the works must feature Uchi. (duh!). XD
How do we pick the winner?
By lucky draw.
Once the deadline is over, every member who participated according to the rules will be given a number, which will be used in the draw. You’ll receive this number in reply to your comment posting the link to contest in the master post.
Though the method to be used will be an online program, in order to assure our impartiality, we asked zsuness , one of the mods at ryo_watch to be in charge of the process, task she kindly accepted.

The second lucky member will receive June's edition of WINK UP! (Kanjani8 on the cover, 2 pages of Uchi and also includes 2 posters as a bonus: Arashi & Aiba and KAT-TUN & Kisumai).
Finally… and in case you’re still having doubts… shipping expenses will NOT be charged.
Deadline to submission will be on November 30th.
