...when you're a stranger. Jim Morrison is a god. As I write this, it is storming like a sonuvagun outside, and I'm thinking how appropriate. Why? Let's see...bad move, bad move, bad haircut, bad move, then a raise. Sounds like a storm to me, and it also felt like a bad storm to me. So I think it's fitting that the week ends with a storm.
Interesting...I just got writer's block. I have like a ton of stuff on my mind but for some reason I can't put it into words right now.
Ok here goes...why do I seem to have no clue when it comes to women. I either seem to not try or try too much. You know how they say that some people have "IT" and some people don't. Count me in to that "Don't" category. Whenever shit happens to me, my friends always say, "ah man, its not you", hmmm, well if it's not, then why am I zero for the millenium. I don't get it, and I don't think I ever will. I'm sure you all are reading this saying, gosh thats so lame and it's not even a big deal. You may be right, but its something that I wish I was good at. If it's one thing that I hate is the fact that as the years keep going by I never seem to get any better with the females. No matter what it is in life, I always want to be better at it, and try to learn from my mistakes. Anyways, enough of that BS or else I'll go on and on, and no one wants to hear it.
Sidenote: This Heat vs. Hornets game is freaking intense...back and forth...hold on only a few seconds left in the game and the Heat are up by 3 woohoo!!! I'll be right back...
OK back...The Heat are up 6 now, and it looks like they will go up 3-2 in the series. Man, I haven't been this excited about the NBA Playoffs in foreverrrr.
Well back to my writings, or lack there of. It was good to see all my old bros this past weekend. It was fun to catch up with everyone and finally get to see Dave Pittman in person again. Not only are his journal posts great but he's even better in person, always has been and always will be. BIG UP RESPECT MON!!! Schwartz is the f'n man, but I'm sure everyone knew that already. But all in all it was good to see everyone. Highlight of the day though, had to be when we were on the 11th hole playing golf Saturday, when Zorn almost took the head off of a Whooping Crane. Oh man, it was funny because we cleared out a nice big area for him so he wouldn't hit them but then he shanked it and the golf ball flew right by this cranes head and it didn't even flinch. Oh man, good times on saturday. (if any PETA people are reading this, that previous story happened only by accident and by no means was it done intentionally) There I covered my ass on that one. Hehehe.
Two random thoughts to leave you with...I want to start taking guitar lessons. I've had a guitar for almost two years now and still know how to play only one chord (pathetic, I know). #2- I want to improve my golf game. I have been going to the range to practice alot lately, but I think I am just practicing bad habits, because it's getting me nowhere (hmmm sounds similar to the story that I started this entry with, hehe). Seriously though, I want to start taking lessons again to help me out because I found this thing called the World Golf League. The WGL is a new thing where amateurs can compete for money based on their golf handicaps (if you don't know what that is, look it up or ask me) and the qualifier, regional, and national tournaments are held in the Orlando area. There is a qualifier in mid-August that I am looking to enter in, so hopefully that will give me enough time to practice and be semi-decent. See the good thing about the WGL is that you comete in different flights with players of your same skill level. Anywyas, that was a long second random thought. Hope everyone enjoys!
Catch ya on the flipside, Mr. Bass!!!
