In the year 2525, when Ben is still in college

That title would be a whole lot more funny if I werent the only one who probably knew the song that it references to. Anyways, today I had quite the adventure on campus. For those of you who dont know I have decided that computer science is not a good major, so I made the decision to switch to something that was more in my field of expertise. So after looking through my top 3 choices for while (History, English, Journalism) I decided to give journalism a shot. Journalism is not an easy thing to get through at UCF, I'm going to have to minor in something outside of journalism (I have chosen creative writing) and then wait until the college of journalism and its gay limited access program decide to accept me. This could potentially tack on another 2 semesters to my already way behind schedule of finishing college. This means that its very likely that I will not finish college until 2008, not exactly what I had hoped for a few years ago. So I get on campus and try to find the advisor I need to see, which thanks to the very uninformative UCF website I had no idea where the advisor was. After about an hour of walking around campus and asking various people I finally found the advisor and switched my major to Journalism Pending and declared my minor in creative writing. I'm also going to look into other journalism schools at some other Florida universities and see if I cant find one that isnt limited access, because somehow limited access will try to screw me over in the long run. I do, however, now know that I want to write for a living whether it be writing fiction or some kind of magazine or newspaper writing. On a much lighter note both Gran Turismo 4 and MVP Baseball 2005 came out this week so I'm having plenty of fun with those. MVP Baseball should quench my thirst for baseball until the season starts at the beggining of April, I cant wait to see the Indians tear it up this season. Well I gotta go study for my biology test tomorrow, but watch out for a new piece of literature from me in the next couple of days. I have a couple of pretty good ideas that I can write about, by the way I'm glad everyone enjoyed my Ode to the Water Bottle. Ben Owens signing out.
