This is a site with a list of knitting for charity links- everything from squares for blankets to blankets for animal shelters to hats for preemies and cancer patients to sweaters for people in afghanistan. Most of the sites have patterns and instructions, and you can drop off stuff locally or mail it to distribution centers. The bears for kids in Africa are especially cute. Anyone want to re-establish stitch-and-bitch with a charity spin?
