This weekend was fantastic. First Pi Day, where I had Serious Pie with Christy and Shelly, and then tons o'pies at church w/friends. I love seeing people get together and celebrating living life (and eating pie). I hope that this can become a more common occurance, but not to the point of burnout. Perhaps once a month?
The next day (Saturday), my friends Pauline & Jon hosted a brunch at their place. A lot of people showed up, and we had tons of food! I helped make the waffles, and by "help" I mean make the batter from bisquik powder. I had a ton of fun and got to hang out with people I normally don't. Something that I've been challenging myself to do is build stronger relationships with people I don't know very well. I think yesterday was a good step forward.
I also played Smash Bros Brawl, and sucked. I am proud to say I didn't get last, but I didn't get first (or second) either. :P I usually end up playing as Link, because I don't really know how to use any other character.
Small group today was good! I heart my small group members. We each come from different backgrounds, but I love that we can still come together and share and be accepted and loved. ^_^ Yay!
This week will be crazy! I picked up more hours at work since one of my co-workers quit, and then we're having a store event. Plus there's the Seattle Easter Swing and salsa class. And then I leave for vacation! w00t!
Another goal: to start journalling on paper more. So bye.
