(no subject)
I was at Hallmark yesterday looking for an anniversary card for my parents. They had the usual, and then they had some specialty ones. One of them read "For Niece and Husband," and another one "For Granddaughter and husband." For whatever reason, my mind construed that as, "Card-sender's husband hooked up with card-sender's niece/granddaughter?!? WTF?!?!?"
It seriously took me about two minutes to understand that it meant for card-sender's niece/granddaughter and her husband (not the card-sender's). D'oh.
But in my defense, it's probably because all the others said for wife to husband, and usually wife = card-sender in that case. Stupid Hallmark. At least I get a 10% discount for being a mall employee. Hmpmh.
And to note, my card was the biggest of all the cards my parents got. HAH. I win.

Jamie Bamber from Battlestar Galactica and Adam Baldwin from Firefly, Serenity, and Chuck are going to be at the Emerald City Comic-Con!!!! I am so excited.
