Moving in

All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go -- but I'm not leaving on any jet planes. No, I'm movin' on up, as the saying goes. Upstairs at The Requiem, to be precise. Leaving behind the last remains of my old life and starting over again. "Um, what do you want me to move? I'm not really good with the heavy stuff, and I've got asthm..." I stopped, and looked around her current place. Well, I guess we're all a little twisted. I shrugged and went on, as we all have our demons.

"I can order pizza, or I can use magic to make the boxes lighter, or lots of stuff. What would you like?" I smiled at her and Michael, and hoped Andrew felt better with me here. After all, we were all friends, weren't we?

"Did you drop this?" On the floor, near the door, was an envelope.

I picked it up Tamara Kennedy Walsh.

"Tam, this has your name on it, kinda, but the last name is wrong."

I smiled at Jon- he's so nice. "Pizza would be great, thanks..."

"Did you drop this?"

Jon was holding an envelope. I went over to investigate.

"Tam, this has your name on it, kinda, but the last name is wrong."

I froze up, my hand trembling slightly as I reached for it. "No... they got it right. Too right."

I hastily tore it open. Who would still know me by that last name? And why would they contact me now?

It even looked like her handrwriting. But... how could it be?

I peered over, with a slight disarming smile -- whatever it was, Tamara didn't look too thrilled about it. "Heh, find an old letter you lost? Or do you get a royalty check for something embarrassing?" I prepared to duck, then noticed she didn't really look too jokeful, either...
