First of all, you do *not* fail at life! Regarding the showers, you are both correct. There are the conventional showers and sinks with running water, mind you water consumption is limited and recycled, which made it all the more fitting that you had her fill the sink instead leave the water running. ;) Sonic showers clean people at a molecular level and is B'lanna's preffered way of showering. There was one scene in an episode where you get to see her standing in it and you actually see the dirt particles lift away from her skin (dirty and sexy at the same time). *shows that I really am a dork* :P

On to the story: this story is great. Not just as a first time trek writer but genuinely great! I love how you started out rather poetic abou the stars and space, Janeway's constant view outside her window. The dream that she's married to her job, totally on par with her. She is both dedicated to her job and trapped because of it. You got her personality tagged, perfectly executed. :) Really great jobbin'!

You know I could so totally make up for lost time all those times you picked on me for being a Trekker but I won't cuz I'm just too happy you joined ranks! :D

P.S. I will get you to watch Next Gen with me eventually. ;)
