This was incredibly touching. I can't believe that you didn't think it would be in character. You nail Meryl's characters. LMAO, I'm sure that thought appeals to you ;)

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this. I liked the angle, the unseen enemy and the way you told us the story so perfectly in Helen's voice. I know every time you write a story, I want more.

I am GREEDY when it comes to your writing, and this is no exception. I'm definitely going to request more drabbles out of you. Your fingers are going to be worn to the bone from all the writing I force you to do.

I love the way you describe the cold, the way Helen worries of compromising the girl - but still entertaining the idea of a night of escape from the streets, with an attractive younger girl.

This is a delicious short - and I am putting it on my iphone as soon as I get home tonight. I LOVE it.

Oh honey, you never force me to do anything! I am always really excited to get your requests because they challenge me to think outside of the box.

I'm really glad you liked this fic -- I was a little nervous because I've only seen it that one time that we watched it, and I almost always resort to research (rewatching the movie, youtube clips, etc) when I'm writing a fandom for the first time. That said, i DID watch your Helen Archer video a few times. But I do worry about characters I don't know well, and I'm really glad you thought I did a good job here!

You know why I like writing your requests? You trust me and you always willingly go wherever I feel the need to take the characters. You're also really kick ass with the feedback when you have the chance to do it, and that makes me and my muse very happy indeed!
